I agree with most or even all of your points. However, forget ancient biblical wisdoms or similar thoughts from ancient books, the current generation doesn't care for the wisodme of anything past 1990s.
We are becoming a species that loaths it's past. What you are saying in short is that the past may have some rational thoughts which we should consider in the present. Saddly to consider these wisdoms from the past, one has to study them or give some attention and then separate the wheat from the chaff.
Look at the so-called tech people or the Youngs of the general public, the majority, you won't see them respecting any of the 'old wisdoms'.

I agree with you Juliet that it is a big challenge and sometimes frustrating, but as we zoom out even farther we realize it is all Love... and not a trauma and not a challenge and that we grow, it's a process we all part of, as we are all interconnected and interdependent, and that this ancient~future wisdom is a timeless wisdom... so, the narratives, be it in the form of a book, a game or a film, to guide and inspire the next generations, will appear.
