Digital asset treasury firm Evernorth has announced a strategic collaboration with t54 Labs to build the world's largest institutional XRP treasury, targeting over $1 billion in holdings. Unlike passive funds, Evernorth will actively generate yield through institutional lending, liquidity provisioning, and decentralized finance (DeFi) strategies on the XRP Ledger. To manage the complexity, the firm will integrate t54's "agentic finance" infrastructure, employing AI-powered autonomous agents for real-time strategy execution, risk assessment, and compliance.
In a related major development for the XRP ecosystem, Ripple has partnered with global IT services firm DXC Technology. The collaboration will integrate Ripple's digital asset custody and payments technology into DXC's widely-used Hogan core banking platform, which supports over 300 million accounts and $5 trillion in deposits globally. This integration is designed to allow financial institutions to offer services like digital asset custody and cross-border payments without replacing their existing infrastructure.
Evernorth, which is backed by Ripple and other major investors, also plans to go public on Nasdaq in Q1 2026 via a SPAC merger. These partnerships align with Ripple President Monica Long's prediction of accelerating institutional adoption of crypto and the convergence of blockchain with AI for automated financial operations.
