Robot researchers have recently achieved two advanced developments at extremes of human-like touch and movement.

At Columbia University, researchers have trained robotic fingers to dexterously manipulate complex objects by touch alone, without dropping them. Their paper has been accepted to the Robotics: Science and Systems 2023 conference.

And at Google Deep Mind, CBS 60 Minutes' Scott Pelley found that robots have learned themselves to play soccer (br. football) — "told only that the object was to score."
