This is really an interesting short, kudos to Mindplex. Dr. Alex has nailed it, what a lovely elaboration.
As a programmer, I do share his views and that the biomimetic approach, if done correctly, is critical for the development of better AI systems because it enables machines to learn from and adapt to human-like behaviors and environmental interactions in real-time. I know that the active inference method can greatly enhance AI's decision-making capabilities and improve its ability to process complex data. I have tried it, along with the bayesian inference and it works. Guys, this approach really allows AI systems to anticipate outcomes based on previous experiences, leading to more accurate predictions and effective responses in dynamic situations.
