Leveraging practical events from one’s personal life to get into the essence and fundamentals of complex concepts, such as the nature of different social systems, can indeed be a powerful approach.
To me, these proofs of contributions or a proof of action look like elementary particles on which these verifiable impact-chains can grow. On the other hand, as every single action cannot be recorded (at least not with the same level of precision/strength), it seems to be the choice of each individual to decide what action is worth recording so that one’s values become properly replicated into the collective cognition. I bet a lot of New Kind of Science (a refer to Stephen Wolfram’s work) will be worked out when dealing with this world of the internet of impact.
It always continues to amaze me how many different kinds of intelligent thinking and endeavors these global open replicative ledgers are able to integrate into coherent common reality with goals and purposes. Most of the fruits of these labors are yet to become visible but they definitely will. Thanks for the conversation!
