I can't agree more! The hype is at its' pick now! Most AI project are sickened with are Overpromising and Underdelivering. All I see now is unrealistic expectations, and the output of these AIs doesn't match the extravagant claims made about them.
In addition to what Dr. Jeffry claims, I think this hype will cause massive Lack of Understanding. In the Hype, the experts are not explaining the fundamental, the basic, and the boring, as a people like me who are in a different line of work often confuse AI as some magical tool that can solve every problem or the complete opposite: fraud and quackery. F#$k the hype and start focusing on AI's current capabilities and limitations.
