Fei-Fei Li's World Labs joins AMD to build spatial intelligence for the physical world
World Labs, the startup founded by AI pioneer Fei-Fei Li to develop spatial intelligence, is joining AMD. Li will become Executive Vice President and Chief Scientist at AMD. The merger unites World Labs' foundation models for understanding 3D space with AMD's GPU hardware, aiming to advance AI beyond language into robotics, design, and scientific discovery.
